A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME…

Kate Williamson is an up and coming actress blah blah blah you know the drill. So, I could tell you all the things I’ve done and the copious amounts of training I’ve had whilst making my debut into this wonderful, weird and wacky film and television industry, as I’m meant to of course but, yawn!
right?

So bare with me here, you can see all my credentials, training and all that fun stuff on my CV but who are you really meeting in the room? Who is the girl you are potentially going to hire/be working with for x amount of time?

Well firstly, why do I want to be an actor?

Because I want to give the audience the escape of cinema to connect to something or someone that might inspire change, gain perspective or help give closure. If I manage to positively move only one individual then that’s my goal achieved, because that’s what it’s all about. What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world goes on to become… immortal. Oh and also I want to build that dream house I spent a few stupid weeks building on the sims when

I was 13.. secret passage ways and all.

Ok me..

I drink copious amount of milk, demolish Nutella like it’s going to be discontinued (which that rumour floated about for a while and I hit panic stations) I breed Labradors, love going on spontaneous adventures at a moments notice, soon to have my diploma in psychology, I’ll drop anything to help a friend, occasionally get distracted by shiny objects and bump into people, things, parked cars.. gracefully of course.

My idea of a top Saturday night is kicking back on the couch with my favourite foods, dog on my lap and Friends or Harry Potter on the TV. I still build blanket forts (minimum once a year, and I would put your kids to shame. TO SHAME. All jokes aside, except they’re not jokes, all deadly accurate..

I am loyal, patient, calm, grounded, resilient and hardworking. Happy to take a risk, fail forward and fail gloriously.
